Project description:

The training course was designed for young environmentalists who were motivated to strengthen civic advocacy skills and create successful environmental campaigns in their organisations. The training course included sessions by experienced speakers and workshops held by trainers. Activity programme consisted of different themes for each day. These topics were strategic planning, project management, lobbying, communications, social media, organising events, youth participation and motivation, fundraising, time management etc. For every session we had different experts who gave introductions to each topic or speakers who shared their experience. Each participant had to work on with their own campaigns during workshops and they brought their ideas to develop their own campaigns in their organisations.

Aim and objectives:

The aim of the project was to provide space for environmental youth organisations to share their experience and develop various competencies needed for successful environmental campaigns.

Objectives:

• To share the experience and build up the knowledge and skills needed for organising environmental campaigns
• To expand the knowledge and skills needed for organising environmental campaigns
• To provide new tools and methods for organising environmental campaigns
• To create space for networking and building new international partnerships among environmental youth organisations.
