Goodbye from Roxana (Networking Coordinator)

So here we are. Last day as the Networking Coordinator in YEE…

Sounds familiar? It is the second time I say ‘goodbye’ to YEE but I smile thanks to all the interesting and exciting activities that I’ve been involved in for the past two-and-a-half years in this position in the YEE Secretariat.

It has continuously been a learning experience, and a defining one for my professional (and many times, personal) development. I am very grateful that I have had the opportunity to work for the network and contribute in so many ways, with such diverse and positively challenging tasks: coordination of the partnership in the STEP project; coordination of campaigns such as The Right to Be(e), Office cuisine, Meet your Trainer; coordination of the TCs “Be(e) the change” and “YEE-nclude” and of the publication “Inclusion in environmental youth projects – Guide for youth organisations”; coordination of the youth exchange “Postcards from nature”, together with our friends from EDEN Center; representing YEE in the European Youth Event in 2016 or at the NGO Island in Sziget festival, last summer in Budapest; being part of several YEE Work Groups; managing YEE’s social media. And so many more that helped me become more knowledgeable and confident in what I can do, what I am good (or sometimes, not so good) at.

I would like to thank my dear colleagues Mercedes, Natasha and Gosia, for the wonderful, fun and supportive environment they have always created at work. And to EVS volunteers - Judit, Vladimir, Diana, Aljaž, Coline, Cristian -  as well as former and current Board members for great collaborations and friendship.

I wish YEE successful and productive years to come and to keep organising high quality projects and be a source of inspiration and environmental action for young people across Europe. It has really been a pleasure and honour to be part of the YEE team!
